A storyteller first, a perfumer to the last.
Artistic without artifice. Youthful, but storied. Confident without ego. It’s a rare dualism that describes both Fleur de Point’s scents and its founder, Marie Clapisson.
Self-taught in the art of scent and accustomed to dreaming with a pen in her hand, Clapisson doesn’t consider herself a master of either perfumery or poetry. Yet her debut collection, in 2017, took both to surprising, multidimensional places. In creating an identity for each scent, she flipped the script, writing the story first, and then building a multisensory world around it.
And it truly is an entire world. Her first story-scents evoke real and imaginary exotic creatures—speaking intimately to the playful, provocative parts of us. On the bottles, dreamy day-glo graphics, and with all, unexpected musical pairings—for scents that have the power to make us feel.
“It’s possible to live an adventure just by reading some words and smelling something different.”
- Marie Clapisson, founder
