How to Use

the lipstick will pop out from the bottom. From there, it’s straightforward: twist the lipstick up to use it, and back down before replacing the cap.

Comfortable wear, great color, cute packaging

Let's start with the one downside: as the other reviewer mentions, the lipstick bullet itself is smaller than your average lipstick. I suspect this was done to keep the container reasonably sized and not XL, but who knows. It's still plenty of lipstick.

The formula is really creamy and comfortable on the lips. As someone who is not a fan of all the matte lippies out there, this is a huge plus. Creamy formula means more reapplying though, but that's a reasonable trade off for those of us who don't want to feel like we have cracked cement on our lips. If you're worried about longer wear, I suggest lining with a nice, red lip liner, applying a thin layer of lipstick, blotting with a tissue, dust on a little loose powder, then apply a second coat of lipstick. Works like a charm every time for creamier formulas like this.

The lipstick does have a strong scent to it-- some kind of floral and reminds me of the way lipstick used to smell when I'd borrow my mom's as a little girl (and that's a fun, nostalgic memory for me, so I love it!).

The packaging is ADORABLE though. I don't know how anybody could dare complain about the price of this lipstick when the packaging alone should exceed this price. If any of your favorite mall-store beauty brands put out packaging like this, it would be $50 EASY.

Anyway, it's a fun concept, a fun execution, and I am totally happy with my purchase.

I wanted to love it

Oh what a disappointment this lipstick was! Let's start with the size of the lipstick. It's a deluxe sample size at best. Next, the shade. It is an orange red. I looked like a clown when I tried it for the 1st time. The case is pretty bit not $20 pretty.
